Commercial EPCs & MEES Advice

Your building has a rating. We make sure it's accurate.

Typical asset rating scale Energy rating and score scale from a real Non-Domestic EPC, A+ to G

Since April 2023, most commercial properties let in England & Wales must meet a minimum E rating under MEES. Government has since signalled its intention to raise this to EPC B by 2031 for rented buildings over 1,000 m² — subject to legislation. We help you find out where you stand — and what to do about it.

Why CEA

Robust assessments. Pragmatic advice.

Every assessment is carried out with the same principle: get the facts right, produce a robust assessment, and provide practical, commercial advice.

CEA combines thorough site surveys, accurate modelling and professional judgement, ensuring each EPC and energy assessment reflects the building as it stands, with minimal reliance on assumptions. We use Non-Domestic EPC Conventions and Defaults only where appropriate, prioritising verified building information wherever possible to produce robust, evidence-based assessments.

Richard Masters MCIOB personally leads every instruction, from the initial site survey through to modelling, review and lodgement on the national register. This provides a consistent, accountable service from start to finish.

Robust assessments. Pragmatic advice. Responsive service.
